PROFESSIONAL : Experience since 1970 in all areas of patent attorney's practice,

including advising on patentability and advice generally in relation to protection

in Australia ; preparing, lodging and prosecuting both Australian and foreign patent,

trade mark, design applications; acting for clients in pre-grant opposition proceedings

and in post-grant validity and infringement actions.

Conducted seminars and information sessions in intellectual property matters for corporate clients, industry

groups, and inventors.

Practised as a librarian in 1979 and 1980, and gained experience in use of both manual and computer-based

information retrieval systems.
